Heavy showers for southern Ireland and the far southwest of England, these edging eastwards into Wales and parts of the western Midlands later. Generally dry for other areas, some bright or sunny spells in the north and west. Increasing cloud in East Anglia and southeast England, but dry overall. Highs at 3C in northern Scotland, 10C in southeast England.

Saturday Night
Heavy showers and a risk of a thunderstorms tonight over Wales, the Midlands and southern England. Eastern areas of England should be dry but rather cloudy. Rain and sleet clears from northern Scotland although continues in Shetland. Ireland is likely to be mostly dry, although heavy showers north and west. Lows near 0C in Scotland, 6C in southern England.
 

Sunday
Low pressure remains in control of conditions through Sunday. Heavy showers will be in much of central, northern and southern England, passing eastwards during the day. There's a risk of more persistent rain in the southeast. A chance of thunder too. Drier, brighter weather follows to Ireland, Wales and parts of western England later. Rain too in western Scotland, drier central and eastern areas. Highs at 4 to 7C, but nearer 10C in the southeast.

Low pressure northwest of Scotland on Monday. A breezy day in Scotland, northern England and Ireland. An area of showers merging to longer spells of rain reaching western Scotland and Ireland in the morning, then passing east through eastern Scotland, England and Wales in the afternoon. Some bursts of rain may be heavy with a risk of thunder. Otherwise starting dry and bright with good spells of sunshine in much of England, eastern Wales and eastern Scotland. Highs at 5C in northern Scotland, 10C in southern England.
