Cloudy for western Scotland and Western Isles with patchy rain and showers through the morning, with strong to gale westerly winds. Staying windy through the afternoon with further showers. For Shetland and Northern Isles, to Aberdeenshire and later Borders frequent squally showers and northwest gales For Northumbria, Yorkshire and Humberside to Lincolnshire frequent showers with northwest gales during the afternoon especially with height. temperatures generally 6C to 8C though with high windchill. Wales, Cheshire, Lancashire some sunshine during the morning though with scattered squally showers through the afternoon which will become increasingly cloudy. temperatures 8C with a fresh westerly wind. South Wales, midlands and southwest England, later all of rest of England after a mainly sunny morning cloud will increase to give a band of showers at first in southwest and later across midlands to Norfolk and Suffolk, tempertures 8C to 10C with fresh westerly wind especially Hampshire to Kent.

Wednesday Night
Showers clearing east though the evening with clearing skies at first for most of England, Wales and Scotland reamining generally cloudy with a patchy frost for central Highland -1C to 3C generally. For Midlands, Wales and souther England cloudy increasing overnight with patchy rain for a time clearing later, temperatures 4C.
 

Thursday
A cloudy wet start to the morning for N.Ireland, Western Isles, western Scotland to Dumfries and Cumbria with rain prolonged and heavy for a time during the morning, outbreask of rain clearing from Northumberland and across Yorkshire. A mix of rain and showers for west to central Scotland, broken cloud and sunshine moving east. Temperatures 6C. For Wales and northwest England reamining generally cloudy with further outbreaks of rain and showesr following. Remainder of England mainly dry though cloudy at first, cloud will break with sunny spells through the afternoon temperatures 10C generally briefly 12C with sunshine.

Friday
Generally dry with variable cloud and sunny spells for most, though showers for western Scotland and N.Ireland. Temperatures 8C to 10C
