Cloud though is likely to persist across central and eastern parts of England and it may persist through the night. More cloud comes in across the Western Isles and Northern Ireland during the night with the risk of some rain and drizzle by morning. Expect minimum temperatures of 7 to 14 Celsius.

Outbreaks of rain spread in across Northern Ireland this morning then western parts of Scotland fringing western Wales and Cornwall. Sunniest today through central areas of Britain. A damp evening across the north and the west. This clears Scotland and Northern Ireland in the night with rain across northern England, Wales and the south west. Expect top temperatures of 16 to 20 Celsius.
Monday Monday looks quite a cloudy day with sporadic outbreaks of rain and scattered light showers. In the afternoon much of Wales along with south west England should be fine and dry with some sunshine. Eastern areas of England may see some patchy rain at times this evening before becoming dry in the night. Clear spells develop across the rest of the country.
