Friday It will be a cloudy start to the day with outbreaks of rain in the morning mostly in east this clearing up to midday. As high pressure will extend east through the day, expect plenty of dry and bright conditions to develop for all for with sunny spells developing. Thick cloud and strong winds will arrive in northwest Scotland in the evening along with outbreaks of rain, this possibly heavy over the Hebrides and the Northwest Highlands. Temperature in the afternoon at 6C in north but 9C in south.
Friday Night Northwest Scotland will see a cloudy evening and night with some rain, this extending for a time over Central Highlands. Northern England and north Wales may see some spot of rain or drizzle overnight. Elsewhere it remain dry with clear spells. Minimum temperatures down to 6-8C for most parts, but possibly down to 3C in southeast England where there will be long clear spells and light winds.
Saturday A rather cloudy morning for most on Saturday but with mostly dry conditions away from northwest Scotland. Outbreaks of rain over the far northwest Scotland this possibly heavy over the Hebrides and Caithness. Through the afternoon a band of rain will reach the southwestern counties of the Republic of Ireland, this spreading northeast through the rest of the day giving rain over Scotland and Northern England in the evening and overnight. It will be a breezy day with maximum temperatures at 7C in north and 9C in south.
Sunday A breezy and cloudy morning but remaining fairly dry across most parts, apart from some light rain over Hebrides. Later in the day a band of rain will edge the British Isles from the west, this giving outbreaks of rain over Ireland and Scotland, this possibly heavy. Some light rain over Northern England overnight. Elsewhere the day will remain dry. Breezy with strong winds in northwest, with maximum temperatures at 10C in north, and 12C in south.
