Rain will come and go in western Scotland and Ireland, some reaching southward towards the Central Belt and Borders. Elsewhere, mostly cloudy with bright spells. Highs of 9 to 10C in most places, 7C in the far north.

A band of rain lingers over Scotland and Ireland as a front remains draped across the central highlands. Mostly cloudy elsewhere and isolated drizzle patches continue in western areas. Fog patches possible in England and Wales. Lows variable, near 9 to 10C in Scotland and Ireland, 7C across central England.
 


Friday
High pressure lingers, keeping things settled in most places. Morning fog patches and calm conditions across England and Wales. Clouds will be quite persistent through the day, brighter east. Light drizzle here and there. Periods of rain continue over northwest Ireland and western Scotland with a gentle breeze building. Highs of 8 to 9C in Britain, up to 11C in Ireland. Where fog persists, temperatures remain closer to 7C.


Saturday
A breezier day. Fog possible in southern England in the morning, though soon clearing. Rain across Ireland and west Scotland arrives early and pushes eastward as the day progresses. Heaviest rain in Scotland and England north of Wales. More drizzly further south, though west coasts may see heavy shower spells. Clearing of rain will reveal patchy sun. Highs of 8 to 9C.
