Sunday Some rain for the far east of Ireland in the far east of England today. Elsewhere a fair amount of cloud, but this will break with some bright spells coming through. Some showers across western and southern areas, especially high ground. A few showers too in western Scotland and western Ireland. Most other areas dry and bright with sunny spells developing. Tops at 5C in northern Scotland, 10C in southeast England.
Sunday Night I overall tonight, with broken cloud and clearing skies. There may be one or two showers affecting western parts of Wales and England but dry in other areas. More persistent showers in western Scotland and some of these could be heavy. A few showers for western Ireland, but most of Ireland stays dry. Lows near -2C in cetral Ireland, 0C in central and eastern England and Wales as well as eastern Ireland, 4C on western coasts.
Monday A weak ridge of high pressure builds on Monday, and that brings a generally fair date across many parts of England, Wales and eastern Scotland. There may be one or two showers affecting western coasts and hills, but most areas should be dry. More cloud across western Scotland with frequent showers here, some of them heavy. A few showers for western Ireland, but most of Ireland should be dry with some good spells of sunshine. Highs at 4C in northern Scotland, 9C in southern England.
Tuesday A fair start to Tuesday across very central and eastern hours of the country, although there could be a few mist and fog patches to start the day. Increasing client across southern Ireland and south-west England, bringing rain during the morning, this then moves eastinto the afternoon to cover much of central and southern England as well as Wales and Ireland. Some rain in northwest Scotland but the rest of Scotland and northern England should be fair with sunny spells. Highs at 6C in northern Scotland, 11C in southern England.
