Wednesday Night Showers over the southeast tending to die away through the evening with a mostly dry night following for all areas as high pressure becomes dominant over the British Isles. Minimum temperatures at 4C in north and 9C in south.
Thursday A strong southwesterly wind will develop through the day over the west and will bring thick cloud along with a few showers over west Ireland and west Scotland. Further east remaining mostly dry with some brightness, best of the sunshine over southern England. Tops of 12C in north and 16C in south.
Friday A band of rain is expected to spread over Ireland through the day along with strong winds. Western Scotland may see some rain as well, elsewhere dry but increasingly cloudy and breezy. Best of sunshine over England. Afternoon temperatures at 14C in north and 16C in south.
