Thursday High pressure over the UK will bring another mostly dry and bright day for all. It will be somewhat cloudier over east Scotland as well as northeast England with some spots of rain possible, otherwise sunny spells developing elsewhere. Best of the sunshine over west Scotland and southern England. A frosty night will follow for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Maximum temperatures at 5-6C across most parts, but up to 8C along the east coast.
Thursday Night It will get cloudier over the eat and south overnight with temperatures there remaining above freezing at around 4C, while clear spells over Scotland and Northern Ireland will result in widespread frost with minimums of -3C.
Friday The day starts fairly dry and bright across most parts, even though a bit more cloudy in south and east. As high pressure resides to the south, a northwesterly flow will develop in far north with a band of rain arriving over northern and western Scotland later in the evening. Rain may get heavy for a time over Northwest Highlands and Northern Isles. Temperature in the afternoon will reach up to 3C over Scotland and Northern Ireland, and up to 6C over England and Wales. Frost overnight developing across Northern Ireland and northern England.
Saturday Cloudy over northern Scotland with occasional light rain, and some light snow over the hills. Elsewhere the day will be mostly dry and bright with sunny spells over southern England. Mostly light winds, but moderate in east. Temperatures up to 6-7C over Scotland, 4-5C over Northern Ireland and up to 5-6C over England and Wales.
