Sunday
More persistent rain in northern and western Scotland this morning will be clearing away into Shetland and Orkney. Elsewhere in the morning is going to be rather cloudy, with some drizzle, Most of this across western coast and hills. This afternoon and and stays cloudy and mild for most of the United Kingdom. There will be a few spots of drizzle affecting the hills of Southwest England, Wales, Northwest England, and western and southern Scotland. However to the east of Scotland, North-east England and parts of the Midlands some breaks may occur in the cloud allowing a few brighter spells to come through. Temperatures will be rising to between 10 and 15°C in a moderate south-westerly wind.


Sunday Night
Staying very mild overnight into Monday full all areas. There Will be lots of cloud around and also some outbreaks of rain and drizzle over western coast and hills. The risk of coastal fog in the western and southern areas. Foremost it will be dry and there may be a few clearer spells around as well. Temperatures falling no lower than 8 to 11°C.
 


Monday
An area of low pressure to the north west of Scotland pushes a cold front eastwards during Monday. This brings a wet and windy start to the day across Ireland with the rain arriving in western Scotland and western Wales by lunchtime. Becoming increasingly windy to Scotland and Northern England and Northern Ireland. Mostly dry start to the day in much of England and eastern Scotland as well as the east of Wales. During the afternoon the cold front passes eastwards bringing showery outbreaks of rain with it although turning increasingly lighter and more patchy. It probably stays dry across much of eastern and southern England throughout. Brighter and dry weather arriving across Scotland and Island as the front clears in the afternoon. Another mild day with temperatures at 10 to 14°C.


Tuesday
A further area of low pressure passes to the north west of Scotland on Tuesday. This brings an area of strengthening wins across Scotland, Ireland, Northern England, and the west of Wales. Gales are likely across much of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Heavier bursts of rain will be arriving in Scotland and Ireland during the morning, these then spreading into Northwest England and the West of Wales through the afternoon. Much of the rest of England and Wales should be dry and mild with broken cloud and sunny spells in the morning, but then some outbreaks of rain here and there across the Midlands during the afternoon. Staying dry across much of East Anglia and southern England. Temperatures rising to between 10 and 12°C.
