Dry for most areas this morning. A fair amount of cloud but a few bright spells as well, mostly central and eastern areas. Some rain in northwest Scotland as a front arrives. Staying damp in northwest Scotland into the afternoon with some drizzle in western Ireland. Western and southern Wales and England may have some drizzle on coasts as well, but the majority of areas stay dry wit the best of any brightness in the east. Highs at 7 to 9C.


Saturday Night
Plenty of cloud through the evening ands overnight. Some patchy drizzle over western coasts and hills. Patchy rain in northwest Scotland. Winds increasing by the morning with gales in Scotland and western Ireland. Lows at 4 to 6C.

 
 
 


Sunday
High pressure remains over Europe on Sunday. Fronts bringing rain to western Ireland and the far west of Scotland. Drier in other areas with broken cloud and a few bright spells. Little changes into the afternoon with most areas being dry, some bright or sunny spells in central and eastern areas. Patchy drizzle over western coasts and hills. Highs at a milder 9 to 13C.
 


Monday
Low pressure develops over the country on Monday as a front slips slowly east and south. It is likely to be a damp day for many, most rain in Scotland, northern England, Wales and eastern Ireland. Murky in these areas too with fog on hills. A risk of the rain turning wintry over northern hills in the afternoon. Drier for East Anglia and the southeast although cloudy here. Drier in western and northern Scotland together with western Ireland. Highs at a cooler 5C in Scotland and western Ireland, milder at 10C in England and Wales.
