Some mist near to western coasts. Drizzly rain moves into western Scotland, more persistent light rain in the northwest by evening with a strengthening southwesterly wind here. Light westerly breezes for most places. Highs 17 to 22C, warmest in central and eastern areas.

Westerly breezes pull variable amounts of cloud across the country, with a little drizzle over western hills. Strongest breezes for Scotland. Locally more persistent drizzly rain in northwest Scotland as fronts pass near to the north. Eastern areas keep clearer skies. Light winds in the south may allow some mist patches to form. Lowest temperatures in rural areas around 7C, but 10 to 12C most towns.

High pressure extends across the country bringing a fine day overall. Western areas cloudier especially in the morning, some mist around coasts, giving a little drizzle on some hills in west Wales and southwest England, also western Ireland. Feeling warm in the sunshine. Light winds. Breezier in northwest Scotland. Highs 22 to 26C for England and Wales, 17 to 22C for Scotland and Ireland. Cooler near west coasts.

Monday
A fine and warm day for most of the country. Early mist patches soon dispersing to leave plenty of sunshine, some fair-weather cloud building. Locally mistier near to some western coasts. High cloud building in the west, chance of a local burst of rain for western Scotland later. Light to moderate southerly winds, local coastal sea breezes. Highs 20 to 26C, warmest east and south.
