More rain & showers east tonight

Wednesday
Showers over eastern areas of England this morning. Broken cloud further west with some bright spells. Sunny spells in Scotland and Ireland, drier here and a chilly start too. This afternoon is breezy in central and eastern areas and will be feeling cool. Scattered showers in the east, most in East Anglia.Dry again in Scotland with sunny spells. Increasing cloud in western Ireland with some rain arriving here by dark. Highs at 5 to 7C for most, but to 10C in the far southwest.


Wednesday Night
An area of rain passing east through Ireland and Scotland tonight. This reaches northern England in the early hours as well as Wales. Central and eastern parts of England will be dry at first, some patchy rain in central England later. Lows at 0 to 5C.

 
 
 


Thursday
A front brings rain and cloud to central, eastern and southern areas of England early on Thursday morning. Brighter and drier weather arriving from the west and north through Scotland, Wales and western England together with Ireland. A few showers over western coasts, some heavy. Brighter for all areas this afternoon with sunny spells, just a few showers in western Scotland. Highs at 6 to 10C.


Friday
High pressure south of the country on Friday. Dry with broken cloud for most, the best of any brighter spells in the east. A few spots of drizzle may affect western coasts and hills. The highest risk of drizzle in western Scotland and western Ireland where it will also be breezy. Some hill fog in the west too. Highs at 8 to 12C.
