Sunday
Increasingly windy across Britain today, especially in the west. An area of moderate to heavy rain with a risk of thunder across Wales and central and southern parts of England will spread into Northern Ireland, northern England and southern Scotland. This will be clearing to sunny spells from the south as the rain heads into northern Scotland in the afternoon. Some heavy showers work their way into Wales and Northern Ireland. Expect maximums of 11 to 16 Celsius.


Sunday night
Through the evening and night a number of heavy showers are expected across Northern Ireland and western parts of England, Scotland and Wales. A few isolated showers could affect the south. For many though it will be a dry, breezy evening and night. A milder night to come as well. Expect minimum temperatures of 9 to 11 Celsius.


Monday
It continues breezy across the country today. Scattered showers are expected across Scotland, Northern Ireland, north west and south west England and western Wales. The remainder of Britain should be essentially dry with the best of the sunshine across The Midlands and the south of England. Mostly fine across the country in the evening except for a few showers near western coasts. Overnight an area of rain and showers spreads in across Scotland, Northern Ireland into northern England and Wales. Expect top temperatures of 11 to 17 Celsius.


Tuesday
Today the winds become strong as they veer to the north west during the day thus turning it cooler from the north. A cloudy, damp morning with outbreaks of rain. In the afternoon it will become drier but a few showers are likely while patchy rain lay persist across north east England. Few if any showers may affect central and southern parts of England. Most places become fine and dry for the evening and night and remaining quite breezy. Look for high temperatures of 10 to 15 Celsius.
