Friday
Heavy rain will spread eastwards during the morning and afternoon, particularly affecting western Scotland and Ireland. Showers will follow, becoming more frequent in northwestern Scotland. Southeastern England is likely to remain dry for most of the day. Maximum temperatures will be 7°C in the east and 10°C in the west.
 


Friday Night
Heavy rain will linger over southeastern England in the evening. Elsewhere, conditions will ease with only occasional showers, mainly in the northwest. Overnight, rain will return to Ireland and western Scotland, becoming heavy over the Hebrides and Northwest Highlands. The southeast will remain dry. Minimum temperatures will be 4°C in the east and 7°C in the west.
 


Saturday
Saturday morning will start cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Rain will quickly clear to the east, followed by frequent showers, particularly in northwest Scotland and northwest Ireland. These showers will be blustery and wintry over high ground. Maximum temperatures will reach 8°C in the north and 12°C in the south.
 


Sunday
Sunday will be a blustery day with gales and plenty of showers, turning wintry over high ground in the northwest and possibly down to lower levels in Scotland. The south and east of England should stay mostly dry with some sunny spells. A band of rain arrives over northern Scotland later in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures will be 5°C in the north and 7°C in the south.
