Tuesday High pressure continues to dominate. Fog patches here and there, slowly lifting into low cloud. Low cloud and drizzle in western Scotland, western Wales and western England as well as southern and western coasts of Ireland. Cloudy for most though some patchy sun emerging toward the east and far south. Highs at 7 to 10C, 12C in Ireland.
Tuesday Night Drizzle to continue in western Scotland overnight. Winds increasing here too with a risk of gales north. Some drizzle patches will come and go along coasts of the Irish Sea as well. Mostly cloudy for all keeping temperatures generally mild, lows of 6 to 8C.
Wednesday High pressure over England and Wales maintains a quiet weather day here. Some fog patches in low lying areas and a lot of cloud. Sun spells possible for many as the day goes, mainly to the east of high ground. Southwesterly breezes in northern areas brings cloud to western Scotland and a little drizzly rain, heavier for a time along the northwest coast. Brighter in central and eastern Scotland with sunny spells. Temperatures typically 8 to 10C, locally 12C on Scotland's north coasts.
Thursday Little change on Thursday with the southwesterly flow continuing and high pressure to the south giving mist and fog patches for central and southeastern England. A little rain affecting western Scotland, quite windy here too. Plenty of low cloud across windward facing coastal regions bringing extensive hill fog. Best chance of sun in northern England. Highs at 6C in central England, up to 9C most elsewhere.
