Monday
Dry with weak sunshine for central to southeastern England, thicker cloud northwestwards across the Midlands. Extensive low cloud for northwest England, Scotland and west Wales, with drizzly rain. More persistent rain over western Scotland reaches Cumbria later. Rain and drizzle for Ireland. Some sun far northeast of Scotland. Southwesterly breezes. Less cold, but still cool 6C central-eastern areas, 8 to 10C west and north, up to 12C Ireland.


Monday night
Cloudy skies for many places, blanketing western coasts and hills to low-levels. South and southeast England stays generally dry with varied high cloud. A little drizzle reaching central England, more persistently damp for west Wales and northwest England. Some drizzly showers for western Scotland, drier and clearer for eastern Scotland. Low cloud and damp for Ireland, but little measureable rain. Locally 1 or 2C southeast England, otherwise mild at 5 to 8C or above.


Tuesday
High pressure remains in the south. Fog patches here, slowly lifting into low cloud, some sun emerging toward the east and far south. Low cloud and drizzle in western Scotland, western Wales and western England as well as southern and western coasts of Ireland. Cloud elsewhere but this breaking to allow a few brighter spells to come through, best in the east. Highs at 5 to 9C but 12C in Ireland.


Wednesday
High pressure over England and Wales maintains a quiet weather day. A lot of cloud, some fog patches in low-lying areas. Some sun mainly to the east of high ground. Southwesterly breezes in northern areas brings cloud to western Scotland and a little drizzly rain. Brighter in central and eastern Scotland with sunny spells. Temperatures typically 8 to 11C, locally 13C toward the northeast.
