Staying dry with sunny spells through the afternoon across England and Wales, temperatures briefly 5C mid-afternoon, with a light andvariable to northwest wind. Remaining generally cloudy for N.Ireland, western Scotland, Cumbria, Lancashire and Cheshire and north Wales with scattered showers along windward western coasts of the Irish Sea, tmeperatures 5C and a fresh northwest wind.
