Monday A very mild day, with rain and drizzle in southwest England. Very wet in Wales, particularly in the north. Persistent rain, turning heavy at times in northern England. Rain in southeastern Ireland. Some snow over hills in northern England and southern Scotland. Hazy sunshine in northern and western Scotland, as well as western Ireland. Staying cloudy for all, with a few small breaks for some bright spells further south. A contrast in temperature between the south and the north, with highs ranging from 14C to 5C respectively.
Monday Night Patchy and broken rain on and off through the Midlands overnight. More persistent rain across southern Ireland and northern Wales. Staying dry and cloudy elsewhere. Mild temperatures overall, with much cooler temperatures into the early hours of the morning, dropping to 6C in the south, and 4C in the north.
Tuesday Residual rain in northern England in the morning, which will fade out in the afternoon as a ridge of high pressure builds. One or two drizzly showers in western Scotland, but otherwise a largely pleasant day for the British Isles. A much fresher feel compared to Monday, and feeling cooler in the breeze. Not particularly cold, with temperatures of 10C in the south, and 5C in the north.
Wednesday A very windy day, particularly in the north, and a risk of gales in Scotland. Persistent heavy rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland, but staying dry and cloudy elsewhere, with a few sunny spells in southeast England. Fairly mild, with temperatures of 10C in the south, and 8C in the north.
