Reaching 16 to 18C by afternoon in brighter spells, nearer 13 or 14C where it stays dull.

No rain for most of the country, but drizzle or light rain is likely for north-west Scotland. Lowest temperatures 6 to 9C, whilst some towns and coastal districts will stay at 10C or above.
