Fairly cloud for many areas this morning. Breezy in Scotland and Ireland, some breaks in the cloud allowing for a few bright or sunny spells to come through. Dry for all areas. This afternoon stays dry for most, again with plenty of cloud. A chance of a few spots of drizzle affecting western coasts and hills. Sunny spells in central and eastern areas. Thicker cloud and some rain in the far west of Scotland as well as western Ireland. Highs at 9 to 12C.

An arrea of rain slips south through Scotland and Ireland tonight, reaching northwest England and western Wales through the early hours. Some patchy rain over southern Wales and southwest England. Cooler air arriving in Scotland and western Ireland. Milder in the rest of England and Wales. Lows at 0C in central Scotland, 8C in southeast England.
 

Monday
A small area of low pressure becomes slow moving over the country on Monday. Wet through Wales and the far southwest of England as well as northern England and southern Scotland. The rain could turn to snow over the hills in the north. Colder weather across Scotland and Ireland, best sunshine in northern Scotland. Drier for the rest of England with plenty of cloud and milder too. Highs at 14C in the southeast, 5C in northern Scotland, 4C in parts of northern England.

Tuesday
Low pressure remains on Tuesday. Cloud and outbreaks of rain. Some sleet and snow over the hills of northern England. Tending to be turning drier from the west and north. Sunny spells in Scotland and Ireland, these edging into western England and western Wales in the afternoon. Turning cooler in the east and south during the day. Highs around 6 to 8C.
