Cloud and outbreaks of rain in eastern parts of England this morning, and this will be lasting into this afternoon. Some cloud and rain for western Ireland too, edging slowly east into this afternoon. Brighter in western and central parts of England and Scotland as well as Northern Ireland, but cloud tending to be increasing here during the day. Tops at 12C in eastern England, 20C in sunshine in western and southern areas, around 15C in Ireland.

Rain tonight across northern England. Outbreaks of rain extending through southern Ireland, Wales and southern England. Drier in central and northern Scotland, a few showers here. Highs at 9 to 12C.

 
 
 


Sunday
Low pressure over Ireland on Sunday. Heavy showers over much of England and Wales, these turning thundery with hail at times. Cloud and more persistent rain in northern England and Northern Ireland, a few showers in southern Ireland. Cloud and rain in southern and central Scotland, some heavy bursts of rain here. Brighter in northern Scotland with sunny spells and a few showers. Highs at 12C in southern and central Scotland, 19C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.


Holiday Monday
Another day of sunshine and showers for many on Monday. Low pressure is in control to the north of Scotland. There will be some sunny spells at first, showers then developing and becoming heavy and thundery. The showers tending to fade in Ireland and western parts of Wales, England and Scotland later. Some rain arriving in western Scotland as a warm front moves in. Highs at 14 to 18C.
