Cloudy across southern parts of the country with some outbreaks of rain affecting southeast England. Brighter across central and northern areas as well as in Ireland. Good spells of sunshine here with a frost in places early on. This afternoon sees further cloud in the far south, but for most it should be dry and bright with sunshine. The best of the sunshine in northern areas. Highs near 8 to 10C.

Clear skies overnight and breezy in many areas. It is going to be cloudy in the far south. Dry for all areas. A risk of a frost in northern areas. Temperatures at -2 to 0C in the north, 4C in the far south.

High pressure to the east on Saturday. A brisk east to southeast wind affecting much of the UK and Ireland. More cloud in the west and south, the best of the sunshine to the east throughout the day. Outbreaks of rain in the west of Ireland. Highs at 8 to 10C.

 
 
 


Sunday
High pressure to the east on Sunday. It will be dry and bright with good spells of sunshine in much of England and Wales as well as eastern Scotland and eastern Ireland. Cloudier in western Ireland with periods of rain here. Some rain in western Scotland too. Highs at 7 to 11C.
