Sunday A cold start to this morning with frost being widespread. Fog patches in western and northern areas slowly clearing through this morning. There will be some spells of sunshine, the best in northern and western areas. Always more cloud in the east but some sunny spells here too. The far southeast may have a few showers drifting in with a brisker northeast wind making it feel cold here. This afternoon sees the showers fading and then all areas dry and chilly. Sunny spells, the best in the west. Top temperatures at 4 to 6C.
Sunday Night Frost becomes widespread again tonight under clearing skies. There could be one or two showers returning to southeast England as well as an isolated one in northeast England. A risk of some dense fog for the far north of England and Scotland. Lows could be down to -5C in the west, 0C in the east.
Monday Monday brings high pressure to all parts of the British Isles. A mainly easterly flow will allow for broken cloud in the east. Aart from some showers in East Anglia and the far southeast of England in the morning, it should be dry. The cloud will be more broken in the west where there will be sunny spells. Frost is going to be widespread in the morning with fog patches clearing from Scotland. Highs at 3 to 5C overall.
Tuesday Frost is widespread again on Tuesday morning. High pressure remains affecting all areas. The east to northeast wind brings some cloud in the east and a few showers here. The best sunshine in western areas and staying dry here too. The afternoon may see cloud increasing through the Midlands, a few wintry flurries developing and there could be one or two sleety showers in East Anglia and northeast England. Best sunshine again in the north and west. Feeling cold for all, especially the far south as the wind increases here. Highs at 2 to 5C.
