Cloudy and mild
Drizzle in west

Wednesday
A rather cloudy day for many parts of the country. Most of this will be in western areas where there will be some drizzle on coasts and hills. Places sheltered from the southwest wind will find the cloud breaking and this will allow some bright or sunny spells to develop. The best of the sunny spells is expected to be in more eastern areas of the country. Breezy in the west too. Highs at 10 to 12C.

Wednesday Night
Western areas stay under the influence of cloudier skies, again with the chance of some drizzle on hills, most over western Scotland and western Ireland. Away from these areas there will be some clearer spells. Temperatures falling to around 2 or 3 in central and southern England, 8C on western coasts and hills.

Thursday
High pressure over the continent on Thursday, lower pressure west of Ireland. This brings a southerly flow through the country. There will be a fair amount of cloud in more northern and western areas, some drizzle may affect western coasts and hills. Breezy in Ireland and western Scotland. Dry with plenty of sunshine to the south and east. Highs at 10 to 12C.

Friday
A bright and dry day on Friday across central, eastern and southern areas of the country. A front is going to be bringing cloud and rain into Scotland and Ireland. Rather murky on western coasts and hills too. Highs will be at 7C in Ireland, 12C in central and eastern parts of England.
