Wednesday 4th December
Remaining generally cold, frost to start for Highland to Stirling and Lanarkshire lifting mid-morning with sunshine and variable cloud during the morning 3C, Cloudy and breezy Western Isles to Galloway including Derry and Antrim with rain becoming prolonged through the afternoon 6C. Dry with sunshine to start across Cumbria to Yorkshire, increasingly cloudy and breezy by and through the afternoon 5C. Sunshine and variable cloud for the morning Powys through to Nottinghamshire towards Bedfordshire and Hampshire, cloud increasing across Glamorgan into the afternoon and later into Oxfordshire temperaures briefly 6C through the afternoon becoming generally cloudy through the afternoon further east into Norfolk and Sussex 7C.


Wednesday night
Cloudy across Scotland and N.Ireland during the evening and then overnight wth rain prolonged into Highland tranferring to Borders during the night with showesr followiung into Highland, breeezy with a freshening SW wind. Cloudy across Derry to Antrim, across Dyfed to Heferfordshire, later transferring eastwards to Kent with outbreaks of rain, heavy for a time across Yorkshire, brrezy with a freshening SW wind, temperatures rising during the night 11C.


Thursday 5th December
Cloudy start with rain slow to clear from Lincolnshire through to Bedfordshire to Norfolk and Kent, with sunshine and variable cloud briefly into the afternoon 12C, Cloudy though generally dry start Antrim and Derry, Galloway to Borders and for most of England and Wales, outbreaks of rain moving into Derry to Stirling, Borders through Cumbria, all of Wales by afternoon and continuing eastwards through the afternoon into Hampshire, 12C with a fresh SW wind. A mix of sunshine and showers, mainly rain though snow with height for western areas of Scotland 6C. Rain will become prolonged overnight for Yorkshire to Devon.


Friday 6th December
Cloud and rain clearing all with a generally dry and sunny start Derry to Fife, across Wales through to Norfolk, temperature 5C. Becoming cloudy from west with outbreask of rain initially for Fermanagh to Armagh by midday then into Western Isles, Powys to Cheshire, later Leicestershire, Wilstshire and into Essex later into the afternoon 13C for Devon, nearer 1C across Cumbria with outbreaks of snow with height. Cloudy with periods of more general snow Dumfries to Stirling through the evening with rain overnight
