Variable low cloud and areas of sun breaking through, best to the north of high ground in Wales, southwest England, the northwest and northern Scotland. Fresh southeasterly breezes for western parts of Britain and across Ireland. Generally mild, but cooler if fog lingers locally. Highs 10 to 15C.
