Thursday
Cloudy and rather muggy across much of England and Wales this morning. There will be some thundery outbreaks of rain affecting central and eastern parts of England, rather misty for some too. The thundery rain always tending to be most persistent in eastern counties, before fading into the North Se in the afternoon. Brighter in the west if Wales, northwest England, Scotland and Ireland with some sunny spells, although a low risk of an isolated showers in western Ireland and western Scotland at first. Highs at a cooler 16 to 21C.


Thursday Night
An area of thundery rain in East Anglia and southeast England tonight. Tending to be drier for other areas, although some mist patches forming and rather cloudy through much of England. Fresher in Scotland and Ireland as well as west Wales. Lows near 8 to 12C.

 
 
 


Friday
A thundery area of low pressure will be moving towards southern and Southeast England through Friday. There may be some thundery rain at first across East Anglia in the south-east, but this will become more widespread during the afternoon as the low pressure approaches. The rain may also affect parts of the East Midlands and north east England. Tending to be dry in the west of England, Wales and much of Scotland and Ireland. Scattered showers may develop across Scotland. Highs at 14 to 21C.


Saturday
Lots of uncertainty in the forecast for Saturday with this forecast being of very low confidence. Current ideas are that there will be some thundery rain over England and Wales, although the location of this is not clear at this time. A few showers developing in central Scotland. Some sunny spells in other areas. More rain may arrive in the west of Ireland later. Highs at 16 to 21C.
