Thursday
A fair start to the moring over most of England, Wales and Scotland. There will be good spells of sunshine and it will be feeling warm this afternoon. Thicker cloud and stronger winds in western Ireland and western Scotland bringing some cloud and rain here. Cloud will be increasing over eastern Scotland, northern England and the west of Wales and western England in the afternoon, a few spots of drizzle over northwest Wales and northwest England later. Staying dry elsewhere with more sunny spells. Temperatures rising to 16C in northern Scotland, 24C in southeast England.


Thursday Night
Outbreaks of rain affecting much of Scotland, Ireland and the north and west of England and Wales. This edges slowly eastwards although probably staying dry i much of the eastern Midlands, East Anglia and southern England. Fresher weather with showers following through Scotland and Ireland with showers in the west. Lows at 8 to 12C.
 


Friday
A weak cold front passing through England and Wales on Friday. This brings cloud and outbreaks of rain with it, although the far southeast stays dry at first. Rain then arrives here into the afternoon. Brighter weather north and west with sunny spells. Showers over western Scotland, some of them heavy. Further showers in western Scotland, most of these scattered. Temperatures at 16 to 23C. Saturday
A ridge of high pressure brings a dry and bright start to Saturday for most. The best of the sunshine in eastern and southern areas and feeling warm here too. An area of low pressure west of Ireland will be pushing cloud and rain eastwards, the rain becoming heavy at times in Ireland, reaching much of Scotland, Wales, northern and western England through the afternoon. Tops at 16 to 23C.
