Tuesday
A chilly morning for all. Cloud affecting southern areas of England, some showers over the southeast. Fog in Scotland, slowly lifting and this affecting parts of Northern Ireland too. Most other areas will be dry and bright with sunny spells breaking through the cloud. This afternoon stays dry for most, best of any sunshine in the west and across parts of northwest England and southern Scotland. Still a few showers in the southeast. Highs at 4 to 7C.


Tuesday Night
Fog forming again overnight in Scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of northern England. Cloudier in many central and southern areas with some showers in the far southeast Again. More cloud in the far northern of Scotland. Lows near -5C in central Scotland, -2C in Ireland, 5C in southern and eastern England.
 


Wednesday
High pressure remains through Wednesday. Some more fog patches in Scotland and Northern Ireland, these slowly lifting. Dry for most areas with broken cloud. Some bright spells here and there, best in Wales and Ireland. A few showers along southern and southeastern coasts of England. Some cloud shrouding hills and leaving murky conditions. Remaining chilly at 5 to 8C.
 


Thursday
The area of high pressure builds over the British Isles further on Thursday. Mist and fog patches in the morning for some with widespread cloud too. A few spots of drizzle and a rather murky day in many areas with only brief sunny spells, mainly in Wales and western England as well as Ireland. Highs at 4 to 8C.
