A milder feeling
Heavy rain and strong winds at times

It will be a dry and bright start to the day for most with some sunny spells across Aberdeenshire, Northeast England, East Anglia and Kent. Cloudier with strengthening winds and some light rain over Northern Ireland, as a band of rain edges the British Isles from the west.Thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain arriving over Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England later in the afternoon, this spreading east through the evening with some snow expected over the hills in Northern England and Scotland with a few centimeters added to the already existed snow. Winds strengthening in west through the day reaching gale force in exposure. Lighter elsewhere Temperature will reach 8C in Northern Ireland, but up to 5C elsewhere.

Wednesday Night
Rain and hill snow spreading east through the evening, with the drier condition expected over Moray and the Northern Isles. Fresh to strong winds. A milder night than of late with the minimum temperature at 5C to 7C for most.


A well developed and possible hazardous low pressure system will arrive over Ireland through the day and will push east a band of heavy rain along with gale to severe gale force winds. This rain will move quickly to the east and clear from Northern Ireland, Wales and Southwest England in the afternoon, but blustery showers or longer spells of rain will arrive next. Winds will be strong to gale force, with severe gales expected in exposure and over higher ground. Mild with temperatures at 9C-10C in south, and at 7C in north.

Low will be centered over the UK on Friday but it will gradually weaken out. So a mixed day for most, starting cloudy with some heavy rain in places, but soon rain will get lighter and gradually clearing away. It will get drier in the evening for most areas with winds falling light or fresh. Temperature will rise up to 8C or 9C in the afternoon.
