Cumbria to Northumberland dry with sunshine though rather cloudy at times warm and humid 23 to 25C.

John : Cloudy and cool for most today, organised showers for Highland and Western Isles, coastal Lancashire and Cumbria, running along Welsh coast to Somerset and into Devon to start this morning and continuing through the morning with some heavy and prolonged. Outbreaks of rain Sussex through Kent at first clearing through the morning, all cool 12C 16C later morning. For the remainder of Scotland and England including inland Wales a dry though generally cloudy start though with some breaks and sunny spells. For most through the afternoon a mix of sunny spells and scattered shower, showers becoming more widespread into the midlands southwards. Generally cool for most 15C though likely 18C Wiltshire to Oxfordshire to Hampshire as well as central and eastern Scotland. A cloudy evening dry for most with showers easing
