Alexi: Still largely grey and wet out there this afternoon, however we are starting to see some sunny spells developing across parts do Scotland and Ireland. Low pressure stays close by though.

Alexi: A wet and cloudy start for most. Not as a chilly start due to the cloud cover. Rain will clear many places through the day but staying cloudy with patchy rain hanging on for some.

Simon: Heavy rain passing east this morning. Squally winds associated with the rain and there could be some brief, localised flooding too. Brighter weather following from the west and feeling cooler for all of us too.

Garry: A warm afternoon ahead with southerly winds. A cold front arriving from the west brings rain across most areas tonight, with fresher conditions to start the new week with an unsettled outlook.

Garry: A strong southerly breeze today will push temperatures above 20C for much of central and eastern England. Rain moves into the west later, transferring across most areas overnight into early Monday.

Alexi: Windy across the north today with gusts reaching strong to near gale force for some. A front will continue to move southwards down the country this eve and overnight. Not a lot of rain on it instead cloud.

Simon: Some low cloud and some drizzle western Scotland and western Ireland this afternoon. Some sunny spells elsewhere, best in the east and south.

Simon: Plenty of cloud around today but dry for most. Any mist and fog patches clearing quickly in the next hour or so. A few bright spells developing here and there, best in the south. Turning windier in northern Scotland, a risk of gales here.

Simon: No worries with temperatures tonight, generally around 7 to 10C for most. Some well sheltered rural spots could drop a couple of degrees cooler under clear skies.

Simon: Forecast rainfall for the rest of this week showing the weather staying mostly dry in England and Wales, most rain for northwest Scotland. There is much uncertainty in the forecasts right now so don't be surprised by a change!

Simon: It's a chilly start for Monday morning, although cloud in the SE kept temperatures up here. A bright day ahead though for most, that cloud and rain in the SE fading, increased cloud in NW Scotland. Warm for most too.

Alexi: Other than patchy ran in the southeast of England it looks to be a rather dry night with clear spells for many. Perhaps though some drizzle moving in to the far west later.

Alexi: Some decent spells of sunshine appeared for many this morning but cloud is starting to fill in now. Through the afternoon showery rain may just pep up across parts of the southwest and western regions of Wales.

Simon: Pockets of mist, fog and drizzle should be fading this morning to leave a bright day with broken cloud and sunny spells for most. Cloud increases in the west with some rain in western Ireland. Mild for all, warm in the sunshine.

Simon: Here we go again then, let's chase that cloud! Sunny spells breaking through during the day for many, always most of the cloud affecting eastern areas of the country, but as yesterday just about anywhere may see some breaks.

Simon: Cloud is now breaking over southern Scotland and Northern England with fog in the valleys dispersing too. Staying cloudy in southern England, Wales and Ireland but the fact that the cupid is breaking further north bodes well for a higher chance of sunny spells for more tomorrow.
