Matt: Evening heavy showers and thunderstorms continuing across parts of England and Wales but then clearing overnight. Many areas then mainly dry tonight with clear spells and variable cloud. A mild or warm and muggy night lows 10C to 15C.

Thunder and lightning very very frightening (or perhaps exciting!) Certainly looking like some areas will see some storms as the afternoon progresses. Primarily; Wales, Midlands and down into S England. Torrential rain primary hazard, a lot of falling in a short space of time!
