Outbreaks of rain affect many areas today though these ease to the south and southeast later. The heaviest and most persistent rain to the northwest. A windy day too with coastal gales affecting western areas at times.

It's a wet start to the day for Northern Ireland, much of Scotland and Ireland, and for northern parts of England and Wales. Blustery showers may affect southwestern parts of England and Wales too. Drier for southeastern parts of England and Ireland. Windy too with coastal gales for western parts of Ireland, England, Wales and southern Scotland.


Outbreaks of rain and showers continue to affect northern areas through Sunday afternoon with the heaviest and most prolonged spells of rain over Northern Ireland, northern Ireland, western Scotland and northwest England. Becoming drier for much of Wales, southern Ireland and central and southern parts of England though isolated showers may continue to affect western areas. Staying windy with the focus of the strongest winds shifting to northwestern Ireland and southwestern Scotland.


Continuing wet into the evening for northwestern areas while skies brighten to the southeast. Staying windy for many with gales for northwestern parts of Ireland, England and Wales as well as southwestern Scotland.
