Wind, sleet and snow in Scotland, further rain southern and southeast England
Strong winds and periods of snow affecting central Scotland this morning. Rain in the east and south summer bit heavy. There is a risk of some girls as well across central areas. Cloudy with some rain to in northern and eastern Ireland although a little dryer in the west. A further area of rain along southern coast will quickly be moving north eastwards into southern England.
Wet through the southern Midlands and much of southern England and East Anglia this afternoon. Rain, sleet and snow continue in much of Scotland where it will also be staying windy. Some heavy showers in Ireland. Dry in western Wales and northern England with some bright spells.
Windy and wet weather again overnight in Scotland with the rain increasingly turning to snow once again. Showers and rain in west Wales and Southwest England with some showers in western Ireland. Dryer for central and eastern England as the rain clears here. However turning cloudier and wetter in north east England tonight.
