Morning Call - September 09, 2023
Very warm/hot
Most dry again

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 9th September 2023
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Thunderstorm risk increases further west

A misty and murky start across western areas, the east not so badly affected. The mist should gradually thin and allow for some decent warm to very warm sunshine for many.

Mostly dry weather is expected through the day, though expect showers across northern, western and later southern areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of Ireland. Southwest England into Wales cannot rule out a couple odd thundery, heavy showers.

Mist and fog developing again, particularly across Ireland into Northern Ireland and southern Scotland. Locally heavy and thundery showers across Wales into the Midlands as well as scattered ones across southwest England. Some patchy rain in north and west Scotland. Otherwise dry. Warm again.
