Murky start, becoming brighter
A very slack pressure patterns continues to influence the British Isles today. Slow-moving thundery downpours inland for Scotland, northern England, also Northern Ireland.
Perhaps also some thundery rain affecting eastern coasts of England originating over the Low Countries, moving northwards during the day.
Most likely dry and bright in the south, with sunshine breaking through, most widely around the coasts. Locally murky in the morning, and much of central & northern Britain will keep a general haze.
Light winds for most places, although locally gusty around thundery showers. Coastal sea breezes forming.
Today's top temperatures reaching 20 to 24C, warmest around London. Nearer 15 to 18C around many coasts, and a little cooler where rain sets in.
Have a great day.
