Morning Call - November 03, 2019
Sunny spells, showers
Outbreaks of rain

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 3rd November 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Another mixed day ahead with blustery winds, sunny spells, showers and outbreaks of rain.

Good morning,

It's a wet start to the day for southwestern corners of Ireland and the UK as well as the east of Scotland. Dry and bright for much of Northern Ireland, Wales, northern and central Ireland and the north of England. Through the morning a band of rain edges northeastward across Ireland but the rain becomes increasingly showery over the UK.

Into the afternoon and bands of rain continue to edge northeastward through Ireland and over southwestern parts of the UK while widespread but fairly scattered showers affect northern England and much of Scotland. The best of any afternoon sunshine will be over the Midlands. High temperatures reaching 8 to 11C for many, 12 or 13C for southern parts of England.

Outbreaks of heavy rain continue for southwestern areas into Sunday evening while showers persist over northern areas.

Have a good day!

Claire
