Mostly dry with sunny spells, but rain in northern Scotland

Good morning,

Broken cloud through Ireland, Wales as well as central nd southern parts of England today. There will be bright or sunny spells here, but a low risk of a shower over eastern Ireland and around the northern Midlands later. Best of the sunshine in northern England, southern Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Breezy with cloud and outbreaks of patchy rain in northern Scotland, some of this heavy in places. Staying cloudy and damp in Shetland and Orkney too.

Staying breezy and damp overnight in northern Scotland. Dry in other areas with broken cloud although some rain in the far west of Ireland.
