Fine and sunny weather continues across northern areas, further south and west and some heavy and thundery showers are possible.
Through Sunday morning and some overnight heavy showers or thunderstorms are possible across more southern and south-western areas. Elsewhere though and it is a mainly dry start with some sunny spells, especially across northern areas of the British Isles. A mild start and temperatures soon rising as well.
Through the afternoon and many northern areas, so particularly Scotland, perhaps N Ireland and most of N England will maintain mainly dry weather with some bright or sunny spells. However, the rest of England and Wales will be at risk of some heavy and perhaps thundery showers in places. These will be 'hit and miss', but where they do develop then some localised downpours are certainly possible.
Evening heavy showers or storms may well continue well into the evening and overnight across some southern and south-western areas, but many northern areas will end the day dry with some sunshine and this then leading on to a dry night ahead with clear spells. A mild or warm night for many, especially in urban areas.
