Dry with sunny spells in the south and west, localised showers in the northeast
A largely dry start to the day for many on Monday morning. Sunny spells across east Anglia and parts of southern England. Cloudy but dry acoss Ireland and the Midlands, with a few light showers in northern England and Scotland.
In the afternoon, a few showers bubbling up across Wales and the Midlands, slightly heavier in the north. On and off showers in Scotland. Staying dry and pleasant with plenty of sunshine in the south, some cloud building in the afternoon. Feeling much warmer for all, with a slight breeze in the west.
In the evening and overnight, localised showers continue in northeast England and eastern parts of Scotland, turning heavy at times. Dry elsewhere across Ireland, western Scotland, the Midlands, and southern England.
