High pressure centred to the north east of Britain over the weekend is expected to be semi-stationary for much of this week with little change expected from day to day. Western parts of the country will be driest and sunniest as a north east wind will make it feel quite chilly. It will also bring in more cloud and showers to eastern areas. Expect maximums temperatures 11 to 14 Celsius.

It will remain breezy into this evening and tonight. Most inland parts of Britain will remain fine and dry with mostly clear skies giving a touch of frost to some rural locations. Scattered showers will persists near to the North Sea coasts of England. Expect minimum temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.

If you are heading abroad, it's turning colder from the east with central parts of Europe very unsettled. The warmest, sunniest weather will be will be found across Spain.
