Hot and dry for most, but some low cloud and drizzle in the northwest

Another hot day ahead for many areas of the country. Lots of sunshine for England, Wales and Ireland. Probably more cloud in Scotland and an increase in cloud across more southern areas. Quickly feeling hot.

This afternoon sees some cloud in East Anglia and southeast England. Further cloud in Scotland with the risk of some drizzle in the far northwest. Staying hot and sunny for most of England, Wales and the rest of Ireland.

Tonight may bring some drizzle and low cloud to northwest Scotland. Other areas will be dry with clear spells. A very warm night, especially in the south of England.
