Rain western Scotland, fading showers England, lot of sun later.

Cloudy start with a few showers in England, fading on the course of the morning. Thick clouds move away southeastwards, sky becoming a patchwork of sun and fair-weather clouds.

Afternoon mostly sunny in England, becoming cloudy from the west in Wales.

In Scotland a lot of clouds during the day, especially over western Scotland sun will hide behind the clouds and rain showers will be frequent, in places rain persist for several hours. Rain will reach roughly to line Inverness-Edinburgh, east of that line mostly dry and some more sun. Rain intensity heaviest late afternoon.

Localised showers also in Ireland, most likely in the north and west. Toward Dublin and Cork most likely dry and frequent sun.

Very windy northern England and Scotland, winds from the southwest.

16C Scottish coasts, 20C in Ireland, 20-23C in England to 25C in the southeast.
