Dry with spells of sunshine for England and Wales. Cloudier in the north with rain later.

Good morning,

A ridge of high pressure will maintain fine, dry weather across England and Wales, with some sunshine breaking through at times. Feeling warm in the sun, especially towards the south and east of England. Becoming cloudier over Northern Ireland and and Scotland, though, with rain spreading from the northwest, especially later in the day.

Rain will move across the whole of Scotland and Northern Ireland and perhaps into parts of Northern England overnight but much of England and Wales will stay dry.
