Snow in Scotland, some significant accumulations, milder, wetter for many

Central and southern Scotland as well as eastern Scotland will have more snow with significant accumulations. Drier in northern and northwest Scotland with lots of sunshine and cold across the country too. Rain in Northern Ireland and northern England, feeling chilly. An area of heavier rain in southern and southeast England and East Anglia. Showers over western coasts of Wales and Ireland.

Rain clearing southeast England and East Anglia this afternoon. Sunny spells and mostly dry in the far south. Scattered showers in central England. More persistent rain in Ireland, this heading into the west of Wales.

The snow continues in central, eastern and southern Scotland tonight. Rain in Northern Ireland and northern England. Dry with some clearer skies across Midlands and East Anglia as well as southern England.
