A bright morning with showers in west and north. Showers becoming more frequent in the afternoon and extending further east mostly over Scotland. Over central and southern parts the day starts cloudy with patchy rain, perhaps a period of heavy rain for southeast England in the afternoon. Tops of 15C in north and 18C in south.

Rain clearing from south, with a few showers following along with clear spells. Further north and west expect scattered showers, more frequent and heavy in northwest. Minimum temperatures at 10C in north and 12C in south.
