A bright day with scattered showers mostly over Ireland and Scotland as well as western England and Wales. Further south and east a quite dry day with sunny spells. Top temperatures at 18C in north and 22C in south.

Showers tend to die away later in the afternoon, and become more confined over Scotland through the evening. Minimum temperatures at 10-12C over most parts, with high single figures over sheltered parts in the north.
