Chilly with showers in the east

Good morning,

Another chilly day with showers affecting northeast England and eastern Scotland this morning. Some showers over the coasts of East Anglia too. Drier to the west with the cloud being more broken here and some bright or sunny spells developing too.
 

This afternoon sees the showers affecting much of northern England and eastern Scotland, a few of them heavy. Scattered showers into the northern parts of the Midlands. Drier further west and south with sunny spells here.
