Breezy in southeast

Good morning,

There's lots of good weather ahead this week as high pressure builds across the British Isles. A fresh easterly breeze will become a regular feature for more southern regions.

Today, sunshine will be fairly widespread after early patchy cloud or fog clears - the fog rather extensive over northwest England for a few hours.

Some high cloud will move into western Scotland and Ireland later, but it's likely to stay dry overall except for a little drizzle later in the very far northwest.

A northeasterly breeze will feel cool near to coasts in southeast England, whilst a southerly breeze will tend to freshen in the far northwest. For most places, winds will be light during Monday.

Today's top temperatures rising to between 19 and 23C for many areas, a little cooler near to coasts, especially in the southeast.

Have a great day.
Garry
